My husband, Ty, and I first came to Woodland Park in 2010, when our oldest daughter was born. We had both lived and worked in countries around the world, but after experiencing love and belonging in the Woodland Park community, it became our top choice for a place to raise our family. 

In 2015, my oldest started Kindergarten at Columbine Elementary School. Now, 10 years later, my youngest is attending Kindergarten there. I also have an 8th grader and a 3rd grader. As my children have gotten older, I have been able to volunteer more in their schools, both in the classroom and at special events. I have also served in the children’s ministry at my church for over a decade and volunteered as a Parks and Rec coach over the years.

Along with volunteering in the community, I am a small business owner with an entrepreneurial mind. I have over 10 years of experience working as a bookkeeper for both nonprofits and businesses. I have also assisted my husband in his business endeavors. I enjoy the problem solving and strategizing that comes with business ownership.

My involvement in the schools gives me insight into what parents, teachers and students have been through under the current leadership style and what they truly want and need from district leaders. My heart to serve, understanding of finances and innovative ideas will compliment a new team of competent and caring leaders.
